This is a sad sad event. From what I have read lately it sounds like the train driver was going far too fast fo the curve and failed his ‘lets bend the laws of physics’ roll.

[I don’t think so, accidents happen all the time. The people rebound and make things better. You might not see it right away but it will be there. Of the mass transit I have been on (Tokyo, Yokohama, Bangkok, Toronto, New York) I feel the safest on Japanese trains. -Admin]
