My brother sent me a link to this. Its quite impressive to see paper worked in this way.
Eclectic junk from the four corners of the ‘Net. And pictures too!

Well this isn’t good news for some people I’ve met… Some MIT students with access to loads of gear checked out the RF properties of some common aluminium foil hat configurations (Fez, Centurion, and the Classical) and discovered, much to the horror of nuts everywhere, that they can amplify frequencies used by government agencies:
The helmets amplify frequency bands that coincide with those allocated to the US government between 1.2 Ghz and 1.4 Ghz. According to the FCC, These bands are supposedly reserved for ”radio location” (ie, GPS), and other communications with satellites (see, for example, [3]). The 2.6 Ghz band coincides with mobile phone technology. Though not affiliated by government, these bands are at the hands of multinational corporations.
It requires no stretch of the imagination to conclude that the current helmet craze is likely to have been propagated by the Government, possibly with the involvement of the FCC. We hope this report will encourage the paranoid community to develop improved helmet designs to avoid falling prey to these shortcomings.
Thats right folks, the hats will let the secret beams into your head. I’m glad I don’t own any stock in Alcoa.

From the guys that bring you hand cranked radios and super shortwave sets, C.Crane gives you the Aeonic LED lamp. The 20 high efficiency white LEDs consume 1-2 W of energy. Perfect for use in a motor home or next to your bed.
I love the idea of using LED for home illumination, soft light, pretty much any color you want, make little heat and consume small quantities of electricity.

Oh yeah, this is some real hydro powered goodness here! I love the idea of attaching a tiny video camera to a water rocket. It brings a time honored classic toy into the modern age.

The heat source for these are great, its a wood burning stove that is actualy submerged in the tub. Build a fire in it and close the door and your water is hot in no time.
The heater works great with conventional pumps, filters, jets and chemicals but many of our owners prefer bathing in the age-old Japanese style… changing the water frequently. The average tub with a 450 gallon capacity heats up at the rate of 30 degrees F, or more per hour, so there’s no need to keep the water hot as in conventional systems. You also avoid the need to spend a fortune on electricity and maintenance. With a tub full of water and an armload of wood, you can enjoy a luxurious hot bath in any weather, all year around

That seemingly fake gibberish that you find as a placeholder in documents isn’t just gibberish after all. With roots as far back at the 1500’s it has enjoyed a permanent place in the world of typesetting.
Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry’s standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged. It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.
I bet you never knew that did you.
