It’s coming up, that special day where everyone in the world takes pictures without a lens! If you are a fan of lens less photography like I am, then you should make an effort to ‘pinhole’ your surroundings and post them to the group galleries or if you have a Flickr account you can post them here.
What? Did you say that you don’t have a pinhole camera? Well if you care to break out the tools you can find instructions here to build your own or you can always buy the Pinhole Camera Kit Photography Kit from Amazon. Whatever you choose you had best do it quick, you are going to want to test out your camera to get the right exposure times. I hope to see your photos soon!

Planetary Orbit Clock

A fascinating clock, it resembles a mini solar system that has been chromed by some hot-rod loving alien race. You tell the time by looking at it from directly overhead.

Scientists Spark Super Nova On Cue
Ever want to see exactly how a white dwarf star goes nova? Well now you can, or at least you can see a simulation of what it would be like. I doubt you would want to be next to one if it did go nova. Sunburn would be the least of your worries.
Celebrate Yuri’s Night, 13 April 2007
I remember last year’s celebration of Yuri Gagarin’s historic trip to space (he was the first after all). People were encouraged to have their own parties and celebrations. All in all I think everyone had a good time. This year it looks like there is just one big celebration in San Francisco. If your in the area you should stop by, Anousheh Ansari(wiki), (the first privately-funded female space explorer) will be there giving a speech.

Non-Stink Durians? Tell Me It’s True!
Duaians… Unless you have smelled them up close you just won’t understand what all the hub-bub is about. I can, for a fact, tell you that very fresh durians smell/taste better than ones that have been frozen. That aside, a researcher has discovered that by breeding 90 different varieties of this stinky fruit the odor can be reduced enough to make them edible by most people. This, of course, has the durian lovers up in arms.

The Sharp eMobile EM-ONE, Super Phone from Japan
Gahh! I wish the data network here in America were as advanced as the ones in Japan. 3.6mb/s? That’s better than what I get on my cable modem at my home.
March 31st is going to bring some major changes when eMobile brings it’s unlimited high-speed (3.6mbps HSPDA) service for a flat monthly rate of ¥4980 ($43). The current mobile data leader Willcom offers a flat-rate service of 128kbps for ¥9000 ($77). As Gerhard points out, eMobiles service is 30 times the speed at half the price. Below is an exclusive look at eMobile’s EM-ONE PDA which will work with the new data service and has wi-fi, digital tv, a 4.1 inch Sharp display, a camera, and Windows Mobile 5.0.
YOu have to check the full article out, this is one hell of a phone.
