I’m right in the middle of a video project involving a few of the CVS camcorders and I happened upon this clever little hack. It adds a USB B connector to the camera. I think I’ll be doing something like this myself, as well as extending the controls.

I love this site, mostly because it give you ideas. Yeah, those can be dangerous can’t they? You just can’t let your toaster toast toast, it has to tell time, read the news for you and suggest what tie to wear to work. Ok, that’s a bit extreme but its not beyond what you can find on this information packed site
Take an old Nimslo 3D camera and mate it with the lenses off a twin lens reflex and you get one hell of a funky looking camera. Each frame is two regular 35mm frames wide, go through the photo set and see the results.
As my family has just become the proud parents of a bouncing baby iPod Nano (2GB) we might have to use this service in a year. I love the idea that someone has opened a store front to fix these handy devices. His rates are quite good and the wait times are darned short. i just wish there was one near me. Oh well, another reason to visit my favorite Canadian city, Toronto!
Matt Bremner has created quite the buzz with his iRepair services, using good parts from broken iPods purchased from eBay. Bremner’s tiny 250 sq. ft. Toronto store front services walk-in and mail-in "patients," averaging about 30 per day at a 10 minute average wait time.

I received a comment from the editors over at Rainy Day Magazine that they had been inspired by my recent tutorial on how to clean out a light bulb and decided to put the trade show swag to good use. The results look pretty cool.
