Very cool, the application of e-paper will change the shape of many things. The idea of a curved surface display should make the designers go nuts!
I’d like to see a watch in the shape of a ring made of this, or better yet, as an accessory to the LED iced out bling bling belt buckle you could have a display run around on the belt itself! Or on a hat… Or a t-shirt…

It may still be teathered to a power supply but hopefuly a micro fuel cell or a mega capacitor could solve that.
I’m trying to shrug off the coffee monkey so I’m drinking tea about 90% of the time but just looking at this thing makes me want to brew up a big o’ pot of espresso and suck it down!
The steel, the high power heaters, the digital LED read outs… Wow… Hell , it even has PID ( think of it as an electronic brain) to keep the temp just right… Mummm.. Perfect coffee every time…. NO! MUST DRINK TEA!!!!!

I would very much like to own one of these machines. Pretty much anything you can cut out with a knife, copeing saw, or scissors you can zap out with this. Wood, plastic, metal, evern rubber! Desgn it on your computer, load the hopper and in a while you get cut parts. Custom gears, your own puzzles, stand up photos, rubber stamps… Too cool! All for about $10,000. (Humm… Can I get a small business loan?) What do you know, they have an office in Scottsdale, maybe I can get a tour of their plant. That would be sooo cool! Now that would me a great blog entry. Lots of photos, interviews, the works! Hey, if anyone has used one of these leave a comment, I’d like to get a real world opinion of one of these in action. Can you actualy etch a drill bit?
