Could rovers be sent to Titan in the near future? Maybe… With an active weather cycle made up of methane and a surface temperature around -290 F this would be a prime location to send more probes. The story talks about using a balloon with a science package attached to it, an option that may ultimately prove to be more feasible, along with rovers for future exploration of what has prove to be a very fascinating moon.

ISS crew ‘on alert’ for magnetic storm
With all the news about the probe on Titan, the tsunami, snow, the administration stroking its ego, etc, it’s easy to forget that there is a manned space station in orbit around Earth. Due to recent solar activity, there is a possibility of a strong magnetic storm soon. This might pose quite a health hazard to the two cosmonauts.

Huygens DIY
Lets hear it for the tallented people that can wrangle bits like crazy mad men. These guys have taken the raw images from the Huygens probe and made spherical panoramics, stereo, and color images from them. Quite impressive!

Eye of Science
Very pretty electron photomicrographs of crystals, insects, plants, and other things. One of those cool things to have access to in life would be an electron microscope.

Photos from The New Hot Vacation Spot, Titan!

Very very very cool! (Ok, yeah, its like -200 degrees there so that is quite true)
“…Congratulations to the European Space Agency (ESA) on the successful touchdown of its Huygens probe on Saturn’s moon Titan.”
