Every once in a while you will be reading something and happen across an acronym that you just can’t figure out. Unless it’s referenced a few paragraphs back your probably going to be lost for good. Well if your reading something related to the military (and they love their acronyms) you should head on over to this lexicon that I found. It should be most handy when reading about the latest in military hardware if your into that sort of thing.
Google video has joined with the National Archives and Records Administration to provide online access to old films about everything from the history of NASA to footage of World War II.
Students and researchers whether in San Francisco or Bangladesh can watch remarkable video such as World War II newsreels and the story of Apollo 11 – the historic first landing on the Moon. The pilot program undertaken by the National Archives and Google features 101 films from the audiovisual collections preserved at the Archives.

Ah, it looks like there is already a replacement in the works to fill the void left by Sony’s announcement to discontinue the robotic pet dog, Aibo. The new robot, produced by a Korean company Dasatech, will understand 100 spoken words like ‘sit’, and ‘wag your tail’. It won’t move as fast as the Aibo did but it will be quicker than the now discontinued i-Cybie.
