Door To Door Atheist Bothers Mormons

I have no idea what show (if any) this is from but it’s absolutely brilliant. An irate Australian who has had it with being woken up by missionaries trying to tell him the word of god knocking on his door before noon on the weekend decided that it’s payback time. I especially like it when the Mormon bishop whacks them whit his broom. I’m assuming that is a common practice for dealing with people that question your faith.

Sorry for the Downtime

Arrgh!I’d like to apologize for the recent weird goings on with TeamDroid. I don’t know why (yet) but the MySQL database that is hosted on the iPowerseb server has been corrupted. After repeated reloads, repairs, resets, and just about anything else I can think of, it’s back to a somewhat normal mode. IPower provides the Vdeck management console for conducting maintenance and repair of all aspects of the site and it seems to have it’s limitations. So far it has removed entire tables from the database when a repair was done, failed to restore my most recent backups and reported false a status when a DB check was done. It’s been an annoying day to say the least. I’m hoping that my latest fixes will hold.

Japanese Ad Supported Vending Machines?

Delight vending machine
Cool, in Japan you may be able to get a yummy drink not for hard earned Yen but for a slice of time. A company has plans to introduce vending machines that will offer free drinks is you agree to watch a 30 second commercial. I have no idea how the machines will verify if you are watching, face sensing algorithm I suppose. Maybe it will void the offer if your eyes lose track. I might work. If so this will become a target of clever people looking to get some free drinks.

Remains of the Submarine Kursk

Russian Nuclean Submarine KurskChilling photos of the recovered Russian Oscar-II class nuclear submarine Kursk. In 2000 the submarine was destroyed by a tragic accident during a training mission in the North Atlantic where it is believed that an experimental type of torpedo caused a chain reaction that detonated the equivalent of over three tones of TNT. The boat was recovered in 2001 by a team of divers from a Dutch salvage company. The destruction caused by the torpedo explosion can be seen in these photos.
