Looks like there is another mega storm brewing on Jupiter. Three smaller storms are moving together to form a secong large red spot. If the new one is anything like the old one it’s going to be there a while.

Now this looks like a handy as hell tool. Say your looking for something on Ebay and like all of us your out to get a good deal. Now, the best way to get a good deal is to be the only one in the auction. That’s pretty hard to do if a whole bunch of people are looking for the same item as you. Well what if it looked like you weren’t looking for the same thing as everyone else but actually you were. How? The same way that people make money off from fast typing URLs on the Internet, you do it through typos. Yeah, sometimes when you place an auction you might drop a letter in the name of the item or just screw up the name. ‘Apple’ is pretty close to ‘aplle’ or ‘applle’. Get the idea? TypoTracker take the item name you give it and churns out a list of typos and runs an Ebay search for you. All you have to do is sort through the results.

Thundercats!?!
Last night I was numbing my mind with some television programming when much to my shock a comercial for the 80’s cartoon series ‘Thundercats‘ popped up. Thundercats? The show with that annoying Snarf dude? Wow, I guess that what is old will be new again. I find it amazing that all these old shows are warming the hearts of the kids that grew up in the 80’s so much that people will fork over bucks to get them on DVD’s. The owners of all theses shows must be laughing all the way to the bank. Fonts, Fonts, Fonts Galore!
You can never have enough fonts. OK, I guess you can if you have to keep them loaded in memory all the time. that would be a drag. Anyway, if you ever wanted to spell something in a font from a movie, game, product, or just about anything else you can find them here. Best of all, it’s free! Cool, eh? (BTW, this goes in the ‘to be used for evil’ category just because of all the fun you could have by doctoring things like DVD covers, not that I’d suggest that of course…)

New Mexico Spaceport: Open For Business
Not quite ready for the Heart of Gold or Eagle One to pay a visit right at the moment, but America’s first commercial spaceport is getting ready for business. In July they will be launching their first small commercial rocket and after that, as they say, the sky is the limit (well someone had to say it).
