Quicktime 7 for Mac OS X 10.3

Apple

My Mac is of ‘Old World’ stock (Beige G3 with a G4/500MHz upgrade) so I’ll never be able to run the latest Quicktime offering but I have seen it in action. I have watched a trailer for a movie that was 115MB in size, 2 min. 24 sec. in length and 1280×544 in resolution. It used the new H.264 codec and it looked simply amazing. No banding in color gradations, the picture was always crisp and clear, there was even detail in the shadows along with what could only be film grain. If this is what HD is like I’m going to start saving my nickle and dimes for a new TV.
