The theremin is a very cool device that is enjoying some what of a comeback these days. I’ll have to build one and place the speaker and antennas outside my front door. When someone goes to knock they will make weird music. Might scare them off too!

I’m still waiting for my copy to come in the mail. I saw it at Borders today and I’d a little worried that it might have become ‘lost’ somewhere. Anyone else having this problem?

I did the same thing for a bit less I think. B&W film is fun to develope at home, nowdays you just scan them and you don’t have to mess with an enlarger. I just wish I had a scanner with less scratched glass and some anti Newton ring surface to it so I could get sharper images.

This like DIY has been floating around the ‘net for a while now and if you have any solid silver coins that are now in mint collectors condition you couls make one of these. Looks very easy and you don’t need too mamy special tools (a hammer and a moto tool are the biggest)
