The Death Star II. This awesome replica of the Death Star from Star Wars: Episode VI Return of the Jedi has 3441 pieces, includes a stand and Imperial Star Destoyer to scale, and measures 25 inches high and 19 inches wide with stand. How much you say? USD $299.00, to be released September of 2005.
I have seen people sit out in a snow storm, rain, even a dust storm but never on a window sill nine floors up. I’d say that smoke was pretty darn good.

Wired News: Sci-Fi Epic Shot on a Shoestring
This is a few days late but still pretty good. At this years CeBit, the Taiwan company Luxpro introduced the ‘Super Shuffle’. It’s a flash based MP3 player that comes in 512MB and 1GB sizes. It also boasts the ability to play WMA files and FM radio. Pretty cool, except that it is a dead ringer for the Apple Shuffle (minus the WMA and FM radio). Sounds like somone will be getting all sorts of letters from Apple pretty darn soon.
I’d but one even if the FM range was a bit off from what we have here in the US.

Not much of a case mod, it’s just a PEZ head stuck on a USB drive. I have one on my bench that will kick it’s mass produced ass.
