Invisible tiny UFO caught on chemical-imaging camera

My friend Eugene sent this to me:

“According to some of these scientists, the group is now investigating if invisible UFOs are all around us. The IR camera cannot pick these up because they are not only stealth, they are non-heat producing crafts. Many of these crafts are remote controlled without any life forms inside the same. As a result, naked eyes, the most sophisticated radar systems and even the IR cameras cannot see them.”

Using air to charge cellphones? IIT-Delhi does it!

I hope I can buy one of these soon, it would be pretty handy. Actually what I’d want is a device to recharge my PDA. I doubt that the turbine or the magneto would put out enough current/voltage to charge the LiIon pack in my Viewsonic V-36. I can’t tell you how many times I have been reading it and all of a sudden the low battery warning pops up. If I don’t shut it down ASAP the memory will corrupt. Its a dumb design, but then again it was less than $200US..

The ‘IsNot’ Patent

I got this from a co-worker today:

Here’s an article in eWeek. Apparently MS has filed for a patent on the opposite of “Is” operator.
eWeek – The ‘IsNot’ patent

Microsoft has figured out that if they can patent an obvious programming method they can put the hammer down on anyone that is stupid enough to try and make a product that might restrict the flow of cash into their pockets. Expect to see a patent on ‘GOSUB”, “PRINT”, and “IF THEN” in the near future.
F&%^$*@! brilliant…
