Ramen In Space

I remember seeing the famous Israeli milk ad that was filmed on board of the MIR space station when I was at an airport in Japan. Talk about surreal! A little while ago I posted an article about the instant noodles that were made especially for the Japanese astronaut on board the space shuttle Discovery. Now there looks like there will be yet another out of this world noodle dish avaliable for us Earthbound consumers.

Starting next month, Nissin Food Products will shoot a promotional spot on the International Space Station for Cup Noodle, featuring a sales pitch by a hungry Russian cosmonaut.
The commercial will air in Japan in November as part of Nissin’s “Cup Noodle No Border” campaign,.
Space Films will send a high-def camera to the space station aboard a Russian rocket launch Oct. 1 and direct the filming from Russia’s Mission Control Center outside Moscow.
If you’re looking for extraterrestrial publicity, the agency will be leaving the camera at the space station in the hope of shooting more advertisements.

Device Helps Psychic Senses?

Hyperdimensional Oscillator

Umm… yeah… Remember folks, Tesla was cool and everything – a real genius – but he also would sit with an x-ray source beaming into his head because he felt it let him think more clearly. So with that in mind, take this article with at little NaCl.

At the beginning of the 20th century, Tesla developed a device which he claimed was capable of communicating across deep space, the Teslascope. Life Technology Research International® have been granted access to documents and papers pertaining to the patent for Tesla’s original Teslascope and with the aid of our consultant electronics engineers we have been successful in creating The Hyperdimensional Oscillator™ ,a microcircuit which will duplicate the effects of the original device.
The circuit is so advanced that it is actually a superconductor powered by scalar energies, the biophoton energy of the cosmos.

A few of the benifits of the Hyperdimensional Oscillator are:

The Hyperdimensional Oscillator™ is a tool of healing and enlightenment. It has been gifted to mankind at this time to enable us to awaken and receive the transformational energies of the cosmos.

The Hyperdimensional Oscillator™ only allows subtle energy movement in one direction, which is positive and gives a positive spin of energy.

The Hyperdimensional Oscillator™ also acts as a rectifier by keeping the body’s subtle energy field in perfect balance.

The Hyperdimensional Oscillator™ corrects and filters the cosmic energies flowing into the human body to bring increased harmony and balance to the body’s electrical system.

The Hyperdimensional Oscillator™ is specially prepared to emit cosmic resonant energy frequencies that synchronize and promote a healthy human bioenergy field.

The Hyperdimensional Oscillator™ facilitates communication with higher dimensions including entities commonly termed ‘Extraterrestials’ or ‘ETs’.

And remember, do not taunt the Hyperdimensional Oscillator.

For some odd reason I have a feeling that $90US your getting a pill case with little or nothing in it. My reasoning is that in addition to being a genius, Tesla was a fantastic showman, a trait that these people obviously share with him.

Catom Teleportation

First off, what the heck is a ‘Catom’ you ask? Well, a catom is short for “claytronic atoms”. That would be atom sized robots that could assemble themselves into all sorts of handy devices with the aid of a computer. Think a bucket of smart micron sized LEGO bricks. You order up some way cool germ seeing micro glasses off the Internet and your computer commands your bucket of smart LEGOs to take the shape and functionality of it. Once finished you pull your micro glasses out of the bucket and start to freak out about how unclean your house is.
Right now researchers are trying to build centimeter sized robots that will do this so don’t look for your catom based replicator just yet, give them about 20 years for that.

SharpUX-MF40CL “Miracle” Series

Talk about all your eggs in one basket!

-USB or network connectivity
-Printer
-Fax
-Copier
-Scanner
-PDF creation
-Scan to emai
-Document feeder
-Cordless phone base station
-Memory card slot
-PictBridge
-Synchronizing with a mobile phone

It might only work in Japan (I think the landline phone standards are a bit different there) but still, it would be an amazing chunk of technology to have in your home office.

My co-host Eugene from over at Ninja Team Video is going on a six week trip to Taiwan with his family. He’s keeping a running update on his adventures on his page over at Lone Locust. So far it’s been been pretty food-centric (MOS burgers, Fried Chicken Flavor Cheetos, Cong You Bing…) but now that there is a Typhoon on the way life might take a change for the dramatic. So, for the next six weeks I’ll be encouraging everyone to head over and have a look at how he is doing in this strange environment.
